North-east of the high Atlas the mid-Atlas receives more rain which accounts for its rich and lush habitat. The cedar and oak forests that cover this range hide many rivers, lakes and cascades running through the magnificent geological formations. This wild area remains a unique haven for an important wildlife, some endemic taxon and some of the friendliest Berber tribes, still unwilling to be tamed.
Touring middle Atlas greenest spots, lush valleys and cedar forests in search of the highest peaks of this fabulous range. A cultural discovery of the Zayanne tribes roaming the high plateaus in search of pastures.
